temporary event design that talk about failure of Bangkok city plan
and new kind of living space that happen from it
อีเว้นท์ดีไซน์ที่พูดถึงความล้มเหลวในการวางผังเมืองกรุงเทพ
และพื้นที่อยู่อาศัยแบบใหม่ที่ต้อง 'ปรับตัว' ให้อยู่รอดของชุมชนแออัด
The project included research about how new traffic route effect to old shop house
along Pethchaburi rd. in the west of Bangkok.
And then focus on in-exterior urban scale of the living condition ,
special tools and wisdom of locals who adapted themselves to new kind of living space.
โครงการนี้มีการลงพื้นที่เก็บข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับสภาพความเป็นอยู่และผลกระทบจากการสร้างสะพานยกระดับ
เหนือถนนเพชรบุรีที่มีต่อชุมชนและอาคารห้องแถวในบริเวณ และศึกษาลักษณะพิเศษในการใช้สอยพื้นที่จำกัดของคนในชุมชนใกล้เคียงในระดับin-exteriorที่มีความสัมพันธ์เกี่ยวพันถึงผังเมืองในพื้นที่
The event was designed to communicate with both locals and outsider to understand more about theirs condition and how role toward this urban scale phenomenon.
Besides the challenge of space design which need to apply on particular area of shop house facade, the design also support event content like job and skill development workshop, media exhibition about sub-culture in the area ,retail shop and new public space for locals.
ตัวอีเว้นท์ถูกออกแบบให้สามารถสื่อสารกับคนในพื้นที่และบุคคลภายนอกให้ตระหนักและเรียนรู้ไปพร้อมกัน
เกี่ยวกับสภาพความเป็นอยู่และบทบาทของตนในปรากฏการณ์เชิงผังเมืองนี้
นอกจากความท้าทายด้านการออกแบบในพื้นที่จำกัดที่ต้องเกาะติดกับfacadeตึกแถวแล้วนั้น ตัวงานออกแบบ
ยังต้องสนับสนุนการเกิดกิจกรรมต่างๆเช่น ห้องเรียนสร้างงาน นิทรรศการมีเดียเกี่ยวกับกลุ่มวัฒนธรรมในพื้นที่
ร้านค้า และพื้นที่สาธารณะสำหรับคนในชุมชนใกล้เคียง
